I think that most things people write on their ultimate to-do lists never really come to fruition. The menial details of life get in the way of really having one. So I tried not to include things that I don’t think I will really do, ones that sound appealing just so that I could say, “I’ve been to Brazil,” or vague ones like “learn to live instead of just existing” (because that’s kind of the point of the things on the list). I also tried to put things roughly in the order that I think I’ll do them rather than the amount I want to do them, because that would really end up being arbitrary.
I might come back at some point and say more about some of these things.
- Learn Arabic.
- Design my own tattoo.
- Go to Bonnaroo.
- Go skydiving.
- Backpack through Europe (and I could come up with another list for the things I want to do while I’m there).
- Live in Boston.
- Drive across the country.
- Live out West.
- See the Aurora Borealis.
- Live by the ocean.
